Important feng shui interior design tips

If you choose to decorate your house or office according to feng shui and follow feng shui interior design guidelines, there are some important tips you should know. Feng shui can provide you with wise tips and information for you to achieve a feng shui interior design which brings you harmony and improves your life quality as well.

The first thing you must know at the time to evaluate your feng shui interior design is to learn how the space is distributed according to the bagua map. This would allow you to know where each life area is placed and therefore you would be able to design them according to that and to which elements they must have.

As an example of how the house distribution according to the bagua map would determine the feng shui interior design, we can say that the area that corresponds to prosperity should be done by using purple color, wood and water. And each one of the nine bagua map life areas has different colors and elements which must be taken into account in order to properly harmonize the energy in the space.

It is also important that you know how to choose colors according to the area and what is lacking in it since different colors represent different elements. Water is represented by the different shades of blue and black while wood is represented by color green. Colors red, maroon, and pink represent fire, while colors yellow, orange and brown represent earth, and metal is represented by white, gray, gold and silver.

At the time to implement a feng shui interior design, you should always have in mind the feng shui principle that the house can be seen as a metaphor of our life, and the way chi and elements are distributed and function in each area of it will correspond to the way each area of our life will develop. According to feng shui, you should not decorate or design an interior by following random principles.

According to feng shui interior design guidelines, it is also important that you pay attention to all the different spaces in which you spend time. The main spaces in which you should apply feng shui principles are your house and your work place, but if you do spend a lot of time at any other place you should evaluate it according to feng shui as well.
